Delete Your Srutam Account & Data
App: Srutam — Voice Notes & InsightsTurnaround Time: Processed within 7 days
This page provides an official web pathway to request the permanent deletion of your Srutam account and cloud-stored data — whether or not you currently have the app installed on your device.
What Gets Deleted
When you submit an account and data deletion request, we permanently remove:
- Your Cloud Account: Identified by the Google email address you signed in with.
- All Synced Notes & Transcripts: Titles, transcripts, and text contents stored in our Supabase cloud database.
- AI Insights & Summaries: Key points, summaries, WIIFM breakdowns, ideas, and decisions.
- Action Items & Next Steps: All tasks, checkmarks, and completion status history.
- Reminders: Meeting/deadline/call/milestone titles, scheduled times, people, and locations.
- MCP API Keys: All cryptographic key hashes linked to your coding agent integrations.
What Does NOT Get Deleted Automatically
- Local Audio Recordings on Your Device: Srutam transcribes audio locally on your device and never uploads your voice recordings to any server. Because we never possess a copy of your audio files, we cannot remotely delete them from your hardware. You can delete your audio recordings at any time from your device's
Music/Srutam/folder or by uninstalling the application. - Third-Party AI Providers (BYOK): If you configured your own API key for Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Groq, any transcript data processed or retained by those providers during on-demand summarization is governed by their respective privacy policies and retention terms.
